May is a CRAZY month for me - both personally & professionally. It's rivaled really only by December. They're kind of similar for me in a weird way. The salon is on fire & there isn't a second to breathe. On top of that - on a personal level - there's Mother's Day, my sister, nephew & niece's birthdays & Memorial Day weekend! And somewhere in the midst of all that crazy I'm trying to squeeze in some spring cleaning, planting, etc. And all of this with my assistant on a week long cruise! Holy Lord.

I work my ass off & the month of May is a blur ending with the holiday weekend. But then it all pays off. Guess what - I start a four day work week for the entire summer! So basically if it doesn't happen in the month of May it'll have to wait till fall. This boy is checking out! It becomes time to let it go. Ocean air, salty hair & not a care. That's my summer motto!

Last but not least 3 of some of the most important people in my life all have their birthdays the last few days of May - my sister & my niece & nephew. And we'll throw my brother-in-law in there too - don't want to leave anyone out!
