The second post in my summer prep obsession list revolves around beverages! Only two of which are alcoholic - I know... shocking.

Blueprint Juice Cleanse

Every year around this time I get obsessed with a juice cleanse. It really helps me get off those last few pesky pounds I'm trying to get rid of before summer. Again, I'm by no means a nutritionist or expert on anything but hair but I've done this cleanse enough times to know what works for me. I personally drink the 6 juices a day for 3 days (not 5 or a week) & I supplement with a piece of chicken if I feel like I can't get through the day without murdering someone. I've done it for 5 days without food in the past & did indeed lose my mind!

Sea Salt Water

No - this is not some special drink you haven't seen on the shelves yet - I'm literally talking about adding sea salt & lemon to your water on days you really need to hydrate. You know I'm a fan of sweating my ass off in hot yoga & spin classes so when a yoga instructor of mine suggested this as a great option to really rehydrate I gave it a try. It's like a healthy lemonade that gives your body some extra electrolytes & hydration on days you really pushed it to the max.

Coconut Water

But lets be real - I can't carry sea salt & lemon around with me & if I am stopping at a convenience store for a drink I've been trying to buy super hydrating coconut water over plain to get a little extra.


This drink has literally three ingredients - ice, tequila & Fresca soda & is a pretty low calorie alternative to some of the things I would love to be drinking instead! Super easy to mix, tastes good, won't make me fat & I still get a buzz - SOLD!

Lemon Vodka Seltzer

I know to really be on point for summer you should probably cut out alcohol altogether but since that's not an option for me I guess this will be the closest to a healthy obsession I can get.
