I hope you all had an amazing week & are feeling all geared up for another fall weekend!
After all those Halloween obsessions of the last few weeks & the TONS of Thanksgiving & Christmas things I'll be sharing I thought I would go ahead & do an old fashioned 5 things - or basically the five random things I'm obsessed with this week.
DW CANDLES
You know I'm always in Home Goods & also always looking for the best candle. For a while I was into Yankee & then decided I hated the shape of the jar. Then I was into Bath & Body Works but never find myself going into the store. But I'm always in Home Goods so I thought why not & bought several really disappointing candles. Until I found the DW ones. They are amazing! I bought a pumpkin spice one I was obsessed with & then found a "Basic Witch" candle I bought just because it was cute. I burned that one & was instantly in love... then looked at the bottom & realized it was a DW one too - so now I'm full in!
EMILY MCDOWELL STUDIO CARDS
My sister & I both have a thing for stationary. Basically the same thing happened with the DW candles. We both had been finding cards we liked in local Philly shops & then realized they were all made by Emily McDowell. Her stuff is so cute & once we realized we loved her & found out she had an adorable website now I can order online & am really obsessed! And her holiday collection is super cute.
THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A "F"
I know I'm a little late to the party with this one but I'm finally reading it. And lets just say I completely understand why it's a sensation & why his website is so huge!
COLD BREW HAIR TREND
The latest hair color trend is mimicking our Starbucks beverage of choice... besides the PSL that is. They're calling it "cold brew brunette." It's a mix of neutral & golden tones in the hair just like when you pour a little bit of milk in your coffee. And of course I'm loving the hair trend as much as I am the actual caffeine!
CRICUT YOUTUBE VIDEOS
This is numero uno on my own personal Christmas list this year. At first I wasn't sure if the Cricut was worth it & then I watched one YouTube video of some of the things you could do with this nifty little crafting machine. And then I went into the rabbit hole & can't stop watching all the cool things craft bloggers are doing with theres. And of course now I desperately want one!
What are you obsessed with right now?
Cheers - Hal
