FOODS TO MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW

Ok so lets be honest - a huge part of how thick & long a person's hair can grow depends on genetics & age.

Which are two things we really have no control over... no matter how young we can get ourselves to look on the outside our insides are still of a certain maturity if you will... was that a politically correct enough way to say it?

But one thing we can control is our diet.

Consuming a diet lacking the right nutrients can lead to hair loss. So obvi eating a diet with the right nutrients can help promote hair growth.

So I did a little research for y'all & here are the best foods you can be eating for hair growth & health.

EGGS

Eggs are a great source of protein & biotin & a deficiency in either of these nutrients has been linked to hair loss. See... this is far from the first time I've mentioned biotin to you guys. We all know about my fave non-food hair growth tricks.

BERRIES

Berries are loaded with antioxidants & vitamins to promote hair growth. I understand that berries depending on where you live may be out of season but I still buy frozen bags for my smoothies all winter & the way things are frozen anymore you're still getting a great amount of the health benefits.

AVOCADOS

Avocados are rich in Vitamin E, an antioxidant that promotes hair growth. And they are a great source of essential fatty acids which appear to be crucial to grow out those manes. And they're all the rage right now too so why the heck not?!

NUTS & SEEDS

Both are packed with nutrients & Omega 3s linked to hair growth. And they're like the healthiest snack out there.

SALMON

We're getting a little repetitive here but I couldn't leave this one out. But you got the idea.

So there you have it.

These are the foods you should incorporate into your diet... stat.

And you may even lose a few pounds as your hair is growing in longer & healthier... silver linings right?!
