It's that time of the week that I share the five things that got me hype since last Friday when we last talked. So here they are!

THE MET GALA

For those of you who haven't heard these words before may I say first of all I'm shocked & dismayed... just kidding. Basically the Met Gala is an annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in NYC... or in other words a reason for people like me to geek out & see all the avant garde celebrity looks on the red carpet!

CINCO DE MAYO

The weather may have sucked but I'll still take a reason to celebrate... and it fell on a Sunday this year... which may I remind you is pretty much a hairstylist's Saturday so it was extra fun this year. And who the hell doesn't like a good margarita?!

SPRING CONCERT

This was my niece's first school spring concert & it fell on a Tuesday... which has been for the last almost 9 years the day I spend with her & her brother so I was so hype that I got to go see it! I remember those days from my youth & it's so cute to see her living her best life too!

"EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL & VILE"

This is the new Netflix Ted Bundy movie starring Zac Efron... and you know two things I love are true crime & hot guys so I was obvi in on this one. The movie got some pretty mixed reviews & I feel the same but it was still worth an hour or two of my time this week.

EVELYN HENSON DESIGNS

I stumbled upon this fun & whimsical artwork on instagram at evelyn_henson & I fell in love with her fun work. And I'm always looking for cute stationary & fun gifts for the ladies in my life & her stuff certainly fits the bill. I especially love the fun map series with over 150 cities to choose from.
