Hey everyone... you know it's Friday & what that means... yes... most of you who aren't hairstylists are screaming TGIF!

But that's not all... it's time for me to share my #fridayfive. The last two weeks I had some pretty strong themes to work off of - first was Gay Pride & then we had out Fourth of July obsessions.

But this week I'm getting back to my roots & just doing a good old fashioned random five things that I was obsessed with this week.

But before I launch straight into that I should also let you know that tomorrow after work I'll be taking my annual Cape May family week at the shore & will be taking a much deserved break from posting. This trip is really the only week that I truly unplug all year long.

But who am I kidding I won't be able to stay off social media completely. I'm sure I'll be sharing the happenings of the week on Instastories each day & will most likely either do a whole post dedicated to Cape May or use it as a theme for my #fridayfive the following week.

So without further ado here are this week's obsessions.

WOMEN'S WORLD CUP WIN

Unless you've been living under a rock then I'm sure you've heard that the US women's soccer team are the world champs for the second week in a row! Which is so amazing... I was a nervous wreck watching the final game! My nerves get shot to hell when I watch stuff like this... you should've seen me during the Eagles Super Bowl win if you wanna see someone losing their mind lol. But I think the most important part of this story is that they are still being underpaid... which is an actual shame!

"HAMILTON THE REVOLUTION"

I'm currently listening to this audiobook on Audible in preparation for when I see "Hamilton" in September... can you tell I just really wanna make the most out of the whole experience?! Before you check out on this one... this isn't an Alexander Hamilton bio... it's actually the complete story of the creative process of how the Broadway show was made & it's so interesting... especially if you're into live theater or musicals. The only bad part is it's making the wait til September harder!

"BIG BROTHER"

OK so I know I usually share some pretty high brow or really well made TV that I'm obsessed with... and this is not. This is one of my summer's guiltiest pleasures! I love the social experiment that is called "Big Brother." I don't even actually love it most for all the drama or even the hook ups... I like to watch it in terms of a social experiment & find it so interesting how people from such different walks of life deal with each other... especially under such intense situations. Oh & who am I kidding... all the drama is a nice little summer break from all the more serious stuff I normally watch!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Don't judge me too hard on this one. Remember the blog is a place where we can get to know each other better & I admit all the weird things I do. And Christmas in July is one of them. If you know anything about me at all then you know I live for the summer & the holidays... everything else is kinda like a waiting ground for those two things. So it's a no brainer that my crazy ass will watch at least one Hallmark Christmas movie & will most likely make some kind of ornament purchases at the Christmas store in Cape May! Gosh I'm admitting a lot here... between "Big Brother" & Christmas in July y'all prob think I've lost my mind!

ASPEN BAY CANDLES

I've received & bought candles at all sorts of different price points & to be really honest my fave candles are from Bath & Body Works. I also am a real sucker for the candle aisle at Home Goods. Which is where I got this Aspen Bay Coconut Water candle. This is by far my fave fragrance for summer so far.

So there you have it... some random things I'm obsessed with right now & two guilty pleasures that I'm probably gonna regret admitting lol.
