I can hardly even believe it's already September third & Labor Day - the "unofficial end of summer" - has already come & gone.
My niece & nephew went back to school today & I'm totally not ready to not have them with me in the pool today, I'm going back to five days behind the chair at the salon in a week or two & we're all pretty much mourning the end of summer.
If there was a summer experience to be had you can be sure we did it. From Phillies games to amusement parks, camps, days at the lake, swim team & weeks at the shore... we fully embraced the season. And had a blast doing it.
I didn't want it to end. No summer hangover here.
Our hair on the other hand was feeling parched, dry & pretty much strung out from all the sun, dry shampoo, chlorine & salt water. It was the night before the first day of school & my niece's was especially fried.
What's a summer lover to do... not experience everything the season has to offer?! I think not! I say have a blast & then clarify away!

Today in my weekly #hairtiptuesday post I discussed in depth why & when to clarify if you wanna check that out.
But today I'm sharing the perfect product to do it with... our September product of the month... the detox shampoo from Living Proof.
You know I've been a fan of their products for years & this one ranks right up their with the best... it literally saved our hair this summer. Especially last night... I couldn't believe how nice & smooth my niece's hair was this morning for the first day of school.

What is a detox shampoo you ask? It's basically a just a shampoo that gently removes buildup in your hair... mostly from product, pollution & hard water.
This shampoo is sulfate free & completely color safe... it leaves you feeling like a whole new person.
And the best part... it doesn't stink or leave your hair feeling stripped like some clarifying products do. This one smells good & clarifies without stripping or drying.

So detox away so you can enter a new season with fresh, clean hair ready to conquer the last quarter of the year like the boss you are.
Cheers - Hal
