Annnnnd my obsession with blue & purple shampoo continues with my discovery of Hask Blue Chamomile & Argan Oil Blonde Care shampoo, conditioner & deep conditioning mask - for when your hair needs some extra love. Y'all know summer, sun & blonde hair are just a few of my very favorite things - and my excitement is rapidly coming to a crescendo as summer quickly approaches.
But lets be honest - sometimes some of these things I covet so much can take a toll on my hair. As much as I looooove the sea & salt feel of my blonde hair it can over time begin to feel a little dry and sometimes even look a little - gasp - you know the dreaded word we all cringe over - BRASSY!

Ingredients that are good for you - free of sulfates, parabens, gluten, drying alcohol & phthalates - whatever the heck that is?! Thank goodness for Google. Phthalates are an additive to keep products from being stiff & allowing flexibility. But come on now - any product commonly used in things like vinyl flooring & wall coverings doesn't belong in our hair.
Luckily, I recently had the pleasure of trying Hask blonde products & to my excitement not only did the argan oil make my hair feel shiny & strong but the tone of the blue chamomile calmed down any yucky yellow undertones. It's specially formulated to help protect, hydrate & tone all shades of blonde. And it's not so strong that you can't use it every time you shampoo your hair without worry of your hair turning a soft blue or lavender tone. Some of my toning shampoos are so strong I can only use them once in a while or else I end up looking like a Peep.
To be honest, I was kind of wondering if chamomile would be too feminine but the soothing scent is actually very soft & calming. And the best part is it's very affordable & made in the USA! Sometimes when products are inexpensive I have a bad habit of assuming they can't get the job done but this one does not disappoint.
